BIOGRAPHY

  • For 25 years, Dr. Kathy Ewing has been a dynamic and motivating instructor to students and clients from over 80 countries.
  • Dr. E has helped engineers, professors, hospital employees, machinists, and individuals in dozens of other fields to improve their communication in English.
  • Her PhD in Bilingual Education included conducting research in Speech & Hearing Sciences to help non-native speakers of English learn to change their first language accents so they could be better understood by native-born Americans.
  • At the University of Washington, Dr. E created and conducted intensive courses to help visiting scholars adjust to American culture.
  • Her instruction includes how to write skillfully in professional plain-talk English and how to deliver intriguing and effective presentations.
  • Dr. E’s interactive, varied, and engaging teaching style elicits the best from her students.
